"Tyme Restaurant is set within a stunning Country House Hotel that lies in 44 acres of landscaped gardens and beautiful North Devon countryside. It is located within minutes of secluded coves and many fine sandy beaches, such as Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton, yet so accessible to the A361, too. It is also within easy reach of Ilfracombe, Exmoor and the famous North Devon coastal path offering spectacular views.

In addition to the Lounge Bar and Tyme Restaurant, Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel boasts wonderful facilities including en-suite bedrooms and suites, self-catering cottages, a courtyard and extensive gardens where you can relax with a glass of wine. This, coupled with an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and games room for residents means that Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay.

We are in a beautiful setting in North Devon; so rural yet so accessible. The tranquil setting makes us ideal for a relaxing break or as the Family holiday base. We offer group bookings, conference opportunities and facilities for larger parties and weddings. Our garden and grounds are licensed for events if you need to book the whole establishment and erect a marquee or two!

Having grown-up in North Devon, Our Head Chef, Jess Cook, draws inspiration from the amazing scenery and surroundings the area boasts. We have a fantastic range of food producers and suppliers on our doorstep, all of which he incorporates into his own take of the best quality of modern British cuisine that is both seasonal and local. He uses the skills he has learnt over the last twenty years, most recently at ‘Hungary Jacks’ Restaurant in Woolacombe, to deliver a range of seasonal dishes cooked with flair. Jess has also worked at Damien Hurst's "Number 11 The Quay" in Ilfracombe and cut his teeth at the Dorchester in London.

We are open all year for evening meals, Sunday and week-day lunches, private parties, weddings, conferences and workshops, etc. Booking advised. Lunch: served 12:00 - 3:00 Dinner: served 6:00 - 9:00 We welcome children and encourage you to mention them when booking your table so Jess Cook, our Head Chef, can make sure an appropriate menu is available for them. Please do let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements should Jess need to prepare something specially for you, which is always his pleasure. We have a Patrons’ Club with special offers for regular customers and other initiatives so please do make sure you register your details with us (email preferred if you have one). Vouchers may be personalised and made out for any denomination you wish. They may be redeemed against expenditure on food and drink at the Restaurant at any time in the six months following purchase.
