Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel & Cottages. Minimising the risk of Covid-19 when we re-open our doors on 4th July. Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel and Self Catering Cottages have a dedicated team and we are keeping up to date with any changes to government guidelines; this guide is subject to change to ensure your safety whilst being committed to delivering the experience to which you have already become accustomed to at Trimstone. The welfare of our guests visitors and staff has always been our first priority. We are currently working extremely hard, so when you are able to visit us again you will be able to do so feeling assured that we have in place all the precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you and your loved ones safe. We have adapted operations focussing on hygiene, sanitisation and social distancing, underpinned by supervision to ensure your safety and that of our teams is our number one priority. We are currently training our teams to work within government guidelines whilst still offering the excellent levels of service so we can be doing what we do best, which is welcoming you!

Hotel, Restaurant, Cottages, Leisure facilities For our hotel, self-catering residents and day guests, we’ve considered the entire customer journey to assess how we can keep you as safe as possible.

You can book your stay online at www.trimstone.co.uk or by calling 01271 862841. The following procedures are for your peace of mind prior to your stay. However, our Guest relations’ team will be happy to talk to you if you have any further concerns or questions.

a. Politely we request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you call us to postpone your stay. These include: – A high temperature, a new and persistent cough or loss of taste and smell.

b. We recommend that you download any government approved track and tracing app to ensure we are all alerted to any guests who may pose a risk of spreading Covid-19. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works

c. If you have booked directly with us, our team will be in contact the week prior to your arrival and provide you with all the necessary information about your stay, our latest Covid-19 management processes and information about the local area.

d. A health declaration form will need to be completed.

e. Please check-in using this form

a. Politely we request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you do not enter the Hotel. See above.

b. Customers are requested to contact us with an estimated time of arrival on the day of their booking. Enter reception, ring the bell for assistance and you will be greeted and directed to your accommodation, whereupon the key will be in the door ready for you. Please be aware check-in is from 5pm onwards.

c. We have put in place signage on arrival and throughout the hotel detailing the guidelines we have in place to protect you, other guests and our teams. Any guests or visitors displaying Covid-19 symptoms may be asked to leave the premises.

d. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, simply dial 0 from the phone in your room or 01271 862841 from your mobile.

e. Hand sanitising stations will be provided at all entry and exits; customers will be required to sanitise before entering the hotel.

f. Our check-in process has been streamlined to allow for a fast and reduced-contact experience. We shall only be accepting debit and credit cards for the for the moment, to avoid the handling of cash.

g. Our Reception is small; please be mindful of others around you and ensure social distancing of a minimum of 1 metre is maintained at all times.

h. All surfaces, screens, door handles and equipment will be regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the day. We are increasing our house keeping teams to deliver peace of mind.

a. We have heightened and enhanced our cleaning procedures to include extensive cleaning of shared surfaces throughout the day

b. We have set up hand sanitising stations throughout the Hotel for you to use and we ask that you use these when entering the hotel.

c. We have equipped our customer toilets with sanitising hand wash at the basins, as well as disposal paper towels but request you use your room/cottage toilets in preference.

d. To avoid unnecessary contact we ask that guests who are staying with us – where possible – use the bathrooms in their bedrooms.

e. When walking through the Hotel we will ask that you please use your discretion and consideration by keeping a social distance of a minimum of 1 metre between yourself and others. There is guidance signage throughout the hotel to assist.

a. Guests will be provided with an information guide on best practices for staying safe during your break with us.

b. Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully sanitised before each stay and sealed to ensure no contamination occurs prior to your arrival.

c. All surfaces are thoroughly wiped down and cleaned prior to your arrival.

d. Daily servicing of Hotel rooms will not be available, should you require any towels, cups, saucers, spoons, glasses, tea/coffee top ups to be replaced we ask that you please leave any dirty ones outside your door for collection. Replacements will be left outside your hotel room on a tray.

e. All our Self Catering Cottages will be thoroughly cleaned and fully sanitised prior to your arrival.

f. Linens, towels and robes are professionally washed on a high heat, with added sanitisation.

g. All printed material in your accommodation has been placed in drawers to avoid cross contamination.

The swimming pool, gym, sauna and games room will not be available at this currenttime of booking.

Please note: our processes and precautions for our Leisure facilities will be under constant review, this guide will be updated to give you the very latest information.

We shall of course, always comply with all government regulations – and more.

a. We are utilising all our dining area to ensure all diners are a minimum of 1 metre apart.

b. We are able to offer flexible table configurations dependent upon your household size.

c. There will be a small serving table placed at the bottom of your dining table, where your food will placed for you.

d. We shall be offering breakfast for you to enjoy during your stay. To manage social distancing, we shall agree breakfast times in your pre-arrival call.

e. We have created separate entry and exit points to our Restaurants where possible, limiting contact and maintaining social distance between all guests and our teams.

f. We ask that guests who are staying with us use the bathrooms in their bedrooms. If you are not staying with us we request that you follow the social distancing measures we have displayed on our signage when using the public bathrooms.

g. We have equipped our bathrooms with sanitising hand wash at the basins and disposable hand towels.

h. Hand sanitising stations will be set up at the entry and exit points to use and should be used every time you enter or exit dining areas.

i. Our bar area is open on a request basis only. Ring the bell at Reception and a member of staff will assist you. Please use the seating area in the lounge bar with consideration of other others making sure a 1 metre distance is kept at all times. Cash will not be taken. All charges will go to your final bill.

j. No evening dinner service is available at the present time.

a. A printed room bill will be placed under your door early on the morning of check out if you have any additional payments to be made.

b. To check out, all you need to do is leave your key in your room and we shall automatically take payment for any extras using the debit or credit card details used for booking, should you have any queries in relation to your bill, please call Reception by dialling 0 from your room.

c. We ask that you use the hand sanitisers before leaving the hotel.

a. All of our hotel teams have undergone hospitality-focused training on how to minimise the contagion of Covid-19. We shall continue to evaluate our training as best practices evolve.

b. Any staff member who shows symptoms will be immediately sent home and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days prior to returning to work.

c. Hand sanitising stations are located at all entry and exit points back of house for the teams to use.

d. Trimstone Manor House Hotel & Cottages operating procedures are clearly displayed throughout the back of house areas and extensive training given to all staff members.

e. We are dedicated to keeping up to date with any changes to government guidelines, this document is subject to change to ensure your safety.
